ZIF Socket 20 Pins narrow
If you program many ICs, using a ZIF socket is extremely easy because with a ZIF socket you do not have to use force to get the IC into a socket for programming.
ZIF stands for "Zero Insertion Force" which roughly translates to "No Insertion Force". The advantage of this socket is that you do not have to use force and you cannot unintentionally bend the pins of your ICs and thus damage them.
Place the lever of this socket in the open position, then place an IC and press the pins into the ZIF socket with the lever and you can then program your IC
