ZIF socket 16 pin narrow
If you program many ICs, using a ZIF socket is extremely easy because with a ZIF socket you don't have to use any power to get the IC into a socket for programming.
ZIF stands for "Zero Insertion Force" which freely translated means "No Input Force". The advantage of this socket is that you do not have to use any force and cannot accidentally bend the pins of your ICs and damage them.
Put the handle of this socket in the open position, then place an IC and pinch the pins in the ZIF socket with the handle and then you can program your IC
