The PL2303 USB-TTL serial converter cable allows you to use a USB device as a TTL interface. You can connect any TTL interface device, such as a sensor or development board, to the computer through this cable and start a communication between them. This module is compatible with a wide range of devices, because it uses 5V logic and power. One end of the cable is a standard USB A-type connector, and the other side is a female pin header.

Please note: There is no DTR (reset) wire in this cable, so it is not possible to use this board as a programming device.
